Somehow it has happened that people think that folks involved with Methow Recycles have the inside scoop on how to best get rid of just about anything. So this is an attempt to document the answers to the questions that come up regularly. What do you wonder about? Non-ferrous scrap metal - copper, aluminum, brass Methow Recycles - anytime, sorry, we do not pay for these, but it does help support the program!  
Ferrous scrap metal - old cars, farm equipment, rusty metal what'sit Methow Recycles Metal Drive. The next one is scheduled for 2010.

These get reused directly, so please make sure they look like something you would like to receive something nice packaged with - ie clean, no tape, packing slips, etc.
