Resources for Recyclers
Thanks to the Washington State Department of Ecology Public Participation Grant program, we are able to offer the following to Methow Valley recyclers:
Event Recycling
Methow Recycles has purchased a set of recycling systems for the collection of plastic bottles and aluminum cans at community events. These are available for checkout during your event to make collection and delivery of these important recyclables easier. Click here to have a look at the systems.
All we ask is that you leave us a refundable deposit of $5/rack, and return them promptly in the same condition you received them, preferably with bags full of aluminum & plastic!.
Business Paper Recycling
We have also purchased racks and bags from the Bagit System to make it easier to collect the paper generated by local businesses. Identical to the systems in place at local post offices, we purchased bags in blue for newsprint, green for glossy, and white for office paper. These are free for the asking for area businesses.
