Helpful Hints or A Conscious Person's Guide to Getting Rid of Stuff in the Methow Valley

Somehow it has happened that people think that folks involved with Methow Recycles have the inside scoop on how to best get rid of just about anything. So this is an attempt to document the answers to the questions that come up regularly. What do you wonder about? PLEASE DON'T FLUSH THEM!!!

1. Remove drugs from original container.

2. Mix drugs with some undesirable substance like kitty litter or used coffee grounds.

3. Seal this into a container such as a coffee can or yogurt tub.

4. Discard with your garbage.

Methow Recycles. We collect them for artists and shops around the valley who reuse them.

These get reused directly, so please make sure they look like something you would like to receive something nice packaged with - ie clean, no tape, packing slips, etc.
