What's New?
We're thinking about a metal drive this spring...
... we're researching the possibilites from both angles:
- will metal prices support all the effort?
- are there enough piles of willing metal and junk cars to make it worth it?
... we need your input. If you have a junk car to get rid of or a big pile of metal, please get in touch with Betsy as soon as possible: She can be reached at 996-2696 or recycle@methowrecycles.org.

Compact fluorescent bulbs save a lot of energy, but contain mercury, which should be recycled! Thanks to a WA State Department of Ecology grant, Methow Recycles is now recycling compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) at 4 convenient locations:
- Methow Recycles
- Okanogan County Electric Coop
- Winthrop Ace Hardware
- Methow Valley Community Center
