What we do

At Methow Recycles we work closely with our local schools to promote a culture of waste awareness. Our staff and volunteers engage students of all ages through lessons and hands-on activities that focus on a variety of topics from recycling and plastic pollution to reuse and repair. Our education program is led by staff with support from our volunteer-led Education Committee.

We offer in-class lessons, field trips, and hands-on activities to compliment various units of study. We also host a Fix It Cub Club - an after school club for kids to learn how to use tools, take things apart, and develop repair skills. Fix It Cub Club is typically offered in the Spring and Fall.
